Our dogs are family, they live in our home and hearts and not in an outdoor kennel. No puppies from our Blenheim girls before Summer 2025. We do not breed our girls before two years of age and only after we fully health test and have OFA Certifications. She comes from a European Championship line of beautiful Blenheim Cavaliers fully genetic, health tested with advanced testing for eyes, heart, hips and knees. In October 2023 White Manitou Khloe arrived from Hungary at five months old. We knew we had a match made in heaven! Kip has stolen our hearts and become the man of the house. Kip has had his age appropriate genetic and health testing. His family lines are strong and healthy with no eye, ortho or heart issues either. He comes from a very fine family lineage of beautiful well bred Rubies! We met Kips parents and grandmother.
In November 2022 we welcomed Christopher Robin Mountbatten, 'Kip' to the family! Kip came home in January 2023 from a fantastic four generation AKC Certified Pedigree. She has never known a person who did not wish her all the best and give her love and attention. Bella has Grand Championship blood lines with many champions! She is a beautiful Black and Tan Cavalier. She has well researched parentage, we met her parents and grandparents and all are still in excellent health! Isabella has had her genetic and health testing and a four generation AKC Certified Pedigree. Our first Dam is Isabella Esther of Thunder Pups Farm. Our priorities are Health, Temperament and Breed Standard appearance. Our dogs are thoroughly genetic and health checked for eyes heart hips and patella. We bre ed females from age 2 to 5 and then retire our Mommas to be spade well in time to reduce risk of breast and other cancers. We wi ll selectively breed to give back to the breed. Īfter over 40 years of fostering and being the furever homes for abused and neglected dogs, we are finding so much joy in having the ability to start puppies out right. We are boutique breeders of Cavalier King Charles Spaniels in Simpsonville, South Carolin a. Johns Island is where most of the area's horses are stabled, and there are several show kennels here as well.Welcome to our Site! Thunder Pups Farm was established in 2004. Johns Island is next to Kiawah Island a little bit south of Charleston, SC. We moved to Johns Island a few years ago to provide more space for the dogs to run and play. We are blessed with these small family members and are grateful for their success in the show ring and the recognition they have received. We love the English look in our Cavaliers, and strive to improve upon all aspects of the dogs in each breeding - health, temperament and conformation. What has ensued since then is careful breeding, with new dogs introduced into our group from time to time, and a slow but sure progression into showing our own home-bred dogs. We became acquainted with Scott Sommer, a BIS handler and Westminster winner, and he showed Sophie to her Championship and a national ranking! We were hooked! After a year, we found a trainer and handler for her, who showed Sophie with some success. My father bred prize cattle on the farm, so it was only natural that I began to think about showing Sophie. Once we found "Sophie", our love of this breed was solidified. Diego was a puppy mill dog, and we realized right away that despite his sweet personality that he was not what we'd imagined - so we began our search for a show breeder and found them in Texas. We had Diego about two weeks and we knew we needed another one. We had no idea that our first Cavalier - Don Diego De La Vega, or "Diego" - would start us on our journey into showing and breeding these extraordinary dogs. We researched different breeds, and settled on the Cavalier because of their beauty, gentle temperament and manageable size. But, when my son Andrew was 11, we felt he was ready for a dog. We have always been dog lovers, having grown up on a farm in Michigan, but we went many dog-less years due to work schedules and small children in the house.
